The Rampant Cat is situated in Woolton Hill, ideally located close to the A34 Newbury bypass. 'The Cat' provides a warm and friendly atmosphere for both locals and out of town visitors.
In February 2010 we received a Cask Marque award for our first class selection of real ales including London Pride, Wadsworth's 6X and Greene King IPA. We also feature regular guest ales. Extra cold lagers available include Carlsberg and Kronenbourg 1664 and our wine selection is extensive.
Our Menu always offers a choice of of prime steaks sourced from a local butcher. Our Specials boards change every week and feature fresh fish as well as chef’s own creative dishes and desserts.
